The History of Ducati Italian Motorcycle

In the early years, Ducati produced radio components, but in 1946 they began producing motorcycles.

In the 1950s, Ducati started competing in motorcycle racing, and in 1956, they won their first Grand Prix race.

In the 1960s and 1970s, Ducati produced several successful models, including the Scrambler, the 750 GT, and the 900 SuperSport.

In the 1980s, Ducati struggled financially and was eventually acquired by the Cagiva Group in 1985.

In the 1990s, Ducati saw a resurgence in popularity, with the release of the iconic 916 sportbike in 1994, designed by Massimo Tamburini.
